Our Professionally Guided Multi-Day Expeditions take place on the ancestral homelands of the Salish Tribes of Puget Sound, and feature storytelling of ancient legends of these people. This trip is centered around connection with the river, the land, its resources, and its timeless wisdom and sustenance of life. Take in the calming sensory treasures, and live in a way that is consistent with Leave No Trace, as we practice a sustainable way to relate to nature, meandering through the currents, navigating our chosen route through rapids, while surrendering to the timeless sound and rhythm of the water.
Floating through old growth forests, seeing the birds, and feeling the magnificent treasures that whisper from beneath the ancient bedrocks of the Sauk and Skagit Rivers. Within North Cascades National Park and Mount Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest, experience guided scenic nature hikes, interpretive story telling, scenic river exploring, ecological learning, team building, and exotic gourmet meals served in the forest on the side of the river with traditional dutch oven cooking crafted by our professional guides.

Price of Trip: $850 per person.
Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced (depending on chosen options)
Difficulty: Class 2-3 -or- Class 3-4 (explanation here) (depends on river sections operating at the time of trip)
Exertion Level: Somewhat Hard (70%), Very Hard (30%) (explanation here)
Normal Season: All Year (winter season calls for heated drift boats)
Length of trip: 16 river miles total
Duration of trip: 2 days, 1 night starting at 12pm (noon) on day 1, ending at 5pm on day 2.
Passenger minimum: 4 (total; can be mixed with other groups. For private groups please call 360-510-1243).
Minimum age: 18 ( (we can take as young as 7 on the adapted itinerary for kids; please inquire with our staff by calling 360-510-1243).
Minimum weight: 90lbs (we can go down to 50lbs on the adapted itinerary for kids; please inquire with our staff by calling 360-510-1243).

Notes:
Triad River Tours recommends that you bring your own camping equipment for the ultimate comfort. If you do not have camping gear (tent+sleeping bag) we have freshly laundered “camp kits” for $50 per person that include 1 sleeping bag, 1 2 person tent (2 to a tent if there are more of you), and a simple sleeping pad. The kit does not include a pillow or pajamas. :)
Special needs such as dietary restrictions, medical conditions, disabilities, or kids under 90lbs. should be announced at least 2 weeks prior to your trip date to give the guide staff time to prepare.
